60″ Hand Crank Adjustable Standing Desk Review

Now this is an interesting desk. Why’s that? Well, first of all, just look at it.

It’s clean, it’s sleek, it’s got nice lines, and there’s wheels!

If you’re into a modern image and want a desk that you can move…well, this might be the one for you.

However, you also need to be into manually adjusting the desk. What? Manually adjusting?

Yup, this one has a hand crank that honestly goes with the idea of “standing for health” when you think about it – you’re going to get a little bit more exercise moving the desk up and down by hand (literally).

However, if that isn’t for you, stop reading here.

The hand crank is an interesting addition and helps in several ways.

First of all it makes the desk very adjustable if you’re willing to do it by hand. Secondly it helps keep the price down while giving you a nice desk that is large, solid, and well liked by users.

Another upside of this particular desk is the large range of color combinations. You can get white, black, wood grains of all sorts, and mixtures of these.

Now, the 60” reference in the title is the width of the desk. It is about 29.5” deep. The work surface is quite large and since it’s so easily adjustable the standing height will work for just about anyone.

The actual range of motion of this crank adjusting desk is 29.5 inches to 45.25”. Be sure to check that these heights work for your sitting and standing needs.

Speaking of the crank, you can use it on both sides of the desk, so if you’re near a wall or other impediment you can choose which side to place it on.

Of course, a big upside of the manual desk is not having to worry about motors or speed – it’s all up to you!

Getting Started

You do get to assemble this desk yourself, for shipping purposes it has to be broken down into components. That said, you can put this together by yourself and do it in less than an hour.

And, if you don’t want to have the wheels or casters on the bottom you can place furniture coasters or pads on the bottom to protect your floor and still use the desk just fine.

Once you’ve got it together, add your monitor, computer, anything else, and away you go. It’s a great addition to the home office if you’re not needing a motorized version of a sit stand desk.
